kristigoestoeurope!: Hawaiian Picnic in Bruxelles! // Piquenique hawaïen à Bruxelles !

Last Friday the weather was beautiful! and it seems that since then, it's been super ugly and cloudy in Brussels. However we took advantage of the nice weather and I had a picnic with Allie, Anthony, Raquel, Sofia, Mckenna and Eileen. Allie made pasta and I made spam musubis! For now life is good, we have only one exam left tomorrow and we had our most difficult exam last week. // Le vendredi dernier, il faisait super beau mais depuis il fait super moche à Bruxelles! Mai on a profité du beau temps et j’ai fait un piquenique avec Allie, Anthony, Raquel, Sofia, Mckenna et Eileen. Allie a fait des pâtes et moi, j’ai fait des spam musubis ! Pour le moment la vie est belle, il ne reste qu’un examen demain pour Raquel, Allie et moi on a déjà passé l’examen le plus difficile la semaine dernière.

During our picnic, there was a PE class for high school boys at the park. They attempted to play their version of baseball, without gloves, and without a pitcher. It was hilarious because they didn't really know the rules nor could they throw, at all. Allie and I thought we could take them and then Anthony told us to give them a break because baseball isn't a Belgian sport. On top of that, they heard us speaking English and they were talking about us, saying how "the Americans are watching!" Oops! We'll try to be more discreet the next time. // Pendant le piquenique il y avait un cours d'éducation physique pour les garçons d'un lycée au parc. Ils ont essayé de jouer à leur version du baseball mais sans les gants et sans un lanceur. C’était super marrant parce qu’ils ne savaient pas vraiment les règles et ils ne pouvaient pas du tout lancer. Allie et moi, on pensait qu’on aurait pu jouer mieux qu’eux et puis Anthony nous a dit d’être gentille parce que le baseball n’est pas un sport belge. En plus, ils nous ont entendus parler en anglais et ils parlaient entre eux de nous, ils ont dit « les américaines nous regardent! ». Oups ! On essayera d’etre plus discret la prochaine fois.
